With the new Health and Reproductive Rights Law, the State sall ensure the necessary conditions to the full excercise of health and reproductive rights for all the people. To this end the State will promote national policies to defense this rights, will design programs and will organize services to develope it.
Chapter 1, Article 3 rd d: "to promote the development of welfare programs with the strategy of reducing risk and damage including an integrated care protocol in cases of unwanted pregnancy, not acceptable from a medical approach to sexual rights committed and reproductive rights as human rights. "
Cap. 1, Art. 4th b1 "deploy nationwide health regulations in force (Ordinance 369/04 MSP) on the comprehensive care in cases of unwanted pregnancy, not accepted so-called" Advice for safe motherhood, maternal protection measures against induced abortion under unsafe conditions.
As health professionals we must concentrate efforts on the implementation of this law, away from dogma and thinking in our society, our families and our women.
As health professionals we are committed, from the medical ethics and professionals values, to promote this law to defense sexual and reproductives rights as human rights.
